All the houses are brightly colored and different, so that they are always recognizable to sailors even from afar. On the port, Palazzo Montefusco, known as Palazzo della Catena, stands out for its crenellated structure, already a summer retreat for the Bourbon royal family. A short distance away are the shipyards and continuing the journey you reach the beaches of Silurenza and Lingua.

In Via Roma, along the port, you will come across restaurants, shops and bars and also one of the symbols of Procida's identity, the wooden Crucifix which since 1845 has been an expression of the sailors' devotion. You arrive at the square of Sent' Cò, Sancio Cattolico in dialect, where the church of Santa Maria della Pietà is located, whose first nucleus was a chapel from 1616.
From via Vittorio Emanuele II you reach the ancient centre, passing through the sixteenth-century church dedicated to San Leonardo, patron saint of slaves, the condition in which the inhabitants of the island found themselves captured in large numbers during the Saracen attacks.
